Amy Fessler
Property Controller
Amy serves as our Property Controller, where she leads our team of accounting and accounts payable specialists overseeing the complete financial operations for Parktown Living's multi-state multifamily portfolio. In her role, Amy focuses on the monthly close process, property-level profit & loss and balance sheet review, variance analysis, cash flow reporting, and capital planning. She also manages property onboarding and offboarding in Yardi Voyager, designs and delivers training programs for accounting and cross-functional staff, and partners with executive leadership on financial reporting and strategic initiatives. She is especially passionate about process improvement, team development, and building scalable accounting systems that support both property teams and ownership.
Prior to joining Parktown Living, Amy spent over 15 years in multifamily and affordable housing accounting, progressing through roles in property accounting, systems administration, and accounting management. Her experience spans financial reporting, budget development, large-scale ERP implementations, and leading cross-functional teams through system transitions and process improvements.
Amy holds an MBA in Accounting from Avila University, graduating with honors, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Accounting from Park University, graduating Cum Laude.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys watching football with her fiancé, competing in fantasy football, and spending time with her pets.
